Dog Bowl Resonator. Made with an old Artist case and a Hemlock stair spindle. Single coil Jap pickup with a piezo under the saddle. These are operated independently via a two way switch. The cleans on the piezo sound fabulous, and reacts with the dog bowl with a midrange quack without being over-muffled. The single coil is taken from a Jap Strat copy. Surprisingly warm for a single coil but that goes well with the guitar having four strings (GDGB in this case). Had a lot of fun making this, especially when making the sound-holes with a hammer. 😊Solid steel nut and tailpiece, Treadstone wiring and Van Gent jumbo frets.
